What this site knows about you

Short version: nothing at all, unless you type an email address into the form yourself.

Who this covers

This page is about the website ballquest.com. The BallQuest app is not open yet; when it is, it gets its own policy covering player profiles and training data, because those are a different question entirely.

Cookies and tracking

There are none. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or social scripts, and loads no fonts or files from anyone else’s server. That is also why there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The waitlist

If you submit the form, this is stored:

  • your email address;
  • which language you were reading the site in;
  • which page you signed up from;
  • a record of what you agreed to, and when.

It is used for exactly one thing: a single email when BallQuest opens. No newsletter, no reminders, no sharing or selling the address to anyone. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us.

The list is kept with Google Cloud (Firebase) and is written by a server function, so no browser ever talks to the database directly. Entries are deleted once the launch email has gone out, or sooner if you ask.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, which — like every web host — records requests, including IP addresses, for a limited period to keep the service running and to stop abuse. We do not use those logs to build a picture of you.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent. One email does all of it, and there is no form to fill in: hello@ballquest.com.

If you are in the EU and think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Denmark that is Datatilsynet.

Children

The waitlist is meant for adults. Please don’t sign up a child’s address; if one reaches us, we will delete it rather than write to it.

When this changes

Any change shows up here with a new date at the top. If something meaningful changes for people already on the waitlist, that is what the one email is for.
